The Guilford Yacht Club; nestled among vast, virgin salt marshes on the bank of the West River, Long Island Sound’s premiere yachting facility. To appreciate it fully you must experience it all, spacious floating docks, luxurious swimming pool, showers, Har-Tru tennis courts and new club house complete with an exquisite banquet facility for catered events. The Guilford Yacht Club is a full service facility providing yachting, swimming, tennis and various social activities in a true resort environment. Parking rules are in effect. Members need to display a parking sticker in order to park in the south or main parking lot. Non-members without a parking sticker must park in the northwest or guest parking lot. Members requiring additional parking stickers should see John.

The GYC signature bar will be open again every Friday night from June 4^th until September 24^th from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm except June 11^th and July 23^rd where it will be closed for a private event. Please stop by to support your club, guests are welcome when accompanied by a member. Major credit cards are also accepted.

Anyone wishing to donate any hard cover or paperback books on sailing, boating, cruising, seamanship or maritime adventure stories for the Osprey's Nest members lounge, please give them to John Febbraio

The Osprey’s Nest members lounge will be open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Lunch and snacks will be served from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. The lounge is also available for private events.

The next Unit Owner’s Association Board of Directors meeting is scheduled to be held on Monday, June 14th, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Osprey’s Nest members lounge. All unit owners are invited to attend.

Attention slip owners!
Would you like to participate in our transient slip rental program this season? If you allow us to use your slip for transient rentals while you’re away, we will share 50% of the transient rental fee with you and deduct it from your monthly common charges at the end of the season. There is no guarantee that we will need to use your slip but if you are interested in participating in this program, please contact John Febbraio or just let John know whenever you’re planning to be away and your slip will be available for use.

We are looking for yacht club burgees to display and decorate the bar area. If you have any burgees or know another Yacht Club who would be interested in donating their burgee or participating in the tradition of exchanging burgees, please see John Febbraio
